Bilingual and with strong historical and cultural connotations linked to the English speaking world, Malta is a viable alternative to study and improve the English language.
Before starting courses, participants will undergo a written and oral test to verify their level of proficiency and to allow the Director of Studies to select the appropriate level concerning beneficiariesâ demands and needs.
The intensive course offers 6 different levels:
- Basic;
- Elementary;
- Pre-Intermediate;
- Intermediate;
- Upper-Intermediate;
- Advanced;
thus meeting the various needs.
Each language course consists of 20 lessons per week: 4 daily lessons from Monday to Friday.
All the teachers are native speakers and they are specialized in teaching English to foreigners.
The content of language courses depends on the levels of knowledge and typically includes:
- Grammar, written and oral exercises, vocabulary, written compositions;
- Watching movies, recordings and conversation;
- Listening and comprehension;
- Simulation of job interviews.
At the end of the language courses the participants receive a certificate recognized by the Maltese Ministry of Education, containing the developing period of the course and the achieved English level.
